Edwards, Mo. – June 1, 2016 – The Automotive Communications Council (ACC) will produce a free webinar on July 13 at 2:00 pm Eastern, focused on critical topics related to marketing analytics.  The session, called “The Data Rush, Mining Gold from Mountains of Marketing Data,” will present insights into utilizing metrics to deliver real business value.

“Data and analytics are extremely powerful, but with all things trending high, not all that glitters is gold,” said Al Haberstroh, Chair of the ACC’s analytics track.  “With mountains of marketing data available, how do you focus on actionable information that really matters?  This webinar will address critical topics related to marketing analytics, and identify the difference between what is important, and what is fool’s gold.”

Attendees of the 1-hour webinar will earn 0.1 CEU credits towards the AAP/MAAP professional designation from the University of the Aftermarket.  The webinar is open to anyone with involvement in the automotive industry.  ACC membership is not required.

The webinar will be led by Craig Jackson and Jeff Peake, specialists in marketing analytics, business intelligence, enterprise design and more.  Jackson has over 18 years of experience, and is accredited by the Data Warehousing Institute as a Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), with a concentration in Leadership and Management.  Jackson also serves as Chairman of the Board of Advisors for TKE at Central Michigan University.  Peake’s 20-year career has focused on bringing value to business through technology, working closely with most of the largest automotive OEM and aftermarket suppliers.  He leverages his extensive experience of the automotive industry and the aftermarket with his history of enabling cutting edge technologies to drive understanding, optimization and performance.

This event is the third to date since the ACC relaunched its educational webinar series in December 2015. The ACC webinar series is designed to deliver content geared towards helping marketing communications professionals further their professional development.
